Custo Barcelona is a clothing brand created in the eighties by Custo and David Dalmau. We came across the brand during our last trip to Aruba. Custo Barcelona has a store in the Renaissance Mall filled with pieces from the brand’s latest bold, but sophisticated, collection.
Although the brand is at the far end of the bargain scale- at $85 a top it’s not exactly Bacon & Rags cheap and stylish- the bold prints and innovative designs make the brand worthy of a post. We love it that every piece seems to be unique and that the back of the pieces is as elaborate as the front. You will look good in a Custo Barcelona piece from every angle.
If you are on a small budget, don’t sweat. Custo Barcelona has a great website you can visit for fashion inspiration. Besides, you can always score a pair of Arubiana flip-flops and prance around town flaunting the Aruban flag. Make sure your toes are pedicured, though!
